Luffy and crew get a call from the Navy. They spill the beans on Buggy’s past with Roger and Shanks making the small fries love him even more, which makes Buggy estatic. In this state of ecstasy Buggy, who had planned on not going to the execution area, decides they will head there.

Ace is climbing a dark set of stairs remembering a promise he made with Luffy when they were kids.
“Let’s live a life with no regrets.”
It ends with Ace coming out of the dark stairway into a bright place.

Now to Ace;
Three hours earlier, Ace climbs dark stairs up to the place of execution
As he walks, he remembers a promise he made with his little brother, Luffy, when they were children

“We’ll live a life without regrets”

“In the end, Ace comes out the bright end of the stairs”
